How do I get a Police Check?

Every Support Worker must provide a copy of their current Police Check to ensure they have no disclosable court outcomes recorded. A Police Check lasts for 3 years and must always be up to date. If you left your Police Check lapse your account will be placed on hold until we receive an updated copy.

You can receive you police check by going to https://www.veritascheck.com.au/apply – and providing them with your details and copies of photo identification such as passport, license, Medicare card & Debit card.

The usual turnaround time is 1 day, however, if you have a common name or other circumstances this can take longer.

If doing this online isn’t suitable for you, you may complete the form on the government website and head into any local Police Station within 30 days to show your ID.
